He needs to get through the likes of Fitch, Koscheck, Alves, etc. before he can get a fight with GSP. Shields has trained with Fitch and Koscheck previously, so it'll be interesting to see how those matchups unfold.

Hatamoto, Tim Silvia is a HW, so it is not likely he will ever fight Fitch, Koscheck or any of the fighters you mentioned. Unless Silvia conditions himself he has no place in the UFC.
